Happy National Women’s Day!

I’m taking some time today to reflect about what it means to me to be a woman & how lucky I am to be surrounded by inspiring, badass women in my life. Being a woman is difficult at times; there are plenty of obstacles that are put in our way because of our gender. Being a woman is also powerful; we have the ability to do anything we put our minds to despite those obstacles! To me, being a woman means that I am equal parts nurturing & strong; the best of both worlds. I feel empowered when I am empowering other women to be the best versions of themselves; to be a part of a community of women who encourage & uplift one another has been the best part of creating this blog so far! I’m surrounded by fiercely loyal & loving women every day in my life, & now I feel so privileged to have this online community as well. I have some really awesome men in my life who are also great allies to women, & that is really powerful too! Together, with women empowering each other & an increase in male allies, we will see positive changes. So thank you, for being a part of my journey; for reading along & letting us grow together. Here’s to strong women: may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them.
